- How can I put an edge anywhere I want one? → Use the Split Polygon Tool (In POLYGON mode -> EDIT MESH -> SPLIT POLYGON TOOL) First select the point on the edge where you want the new line to start, then select a point on a second edge where you want your new line to end. This will create a new edge with a new vertex at each end. If you are happy with the edge press ENTER to finish and commit to your new edge. When selecting points you may slide along the edge while holding down the mouse button, releasing the button places the vertex. You may also undo any mistakes (before committing to the edge) by pressing DELETE. Once you have pressed ENTER to commit to the new edge you have to select the Split Polygon Tool again to create another edge. Also, you can cross other edges while creating your new one.
- How much do credit hours cost at SCC? → In-state: $42 dollars per credit hour.
- Shortcut Keys? → G Open last tool
- How can I render/get a screenshot of my work? → To see a rendered view of your model: In RENDER mode -> RENDER -> RENDER CURRENT FRAME. This will open a "render view window" with the rendered image. You may then save a screenshot by selecting FILE -> SAVE IMAGE in the "render view window". You can choose from several different screenshot file formats by using the "File of Type" drop down menu before saving.
- How can I merge two vertices into one? → First off, the vertices in question must be a part of the same object (see: How do I combine two objects into one?) Select both vertices by holding SHIFT, push them close together using the scale tool or simply by moving each into position. Then in POLYGON mode: EDIT MESH -> MERGE.
- How do I combine two objects into one? → In OBJECT mode, Select both objects by clicking on them while holding the SHIFT key. Then go to MESH --> COMBINE. Now these items are one and all tools used on them will be applied to both. You can use MESH --> SEPERATE to seperate all objects into their previous parts.
Out-of-state: $233.33 per credit hour.

note: You can take more than 12 credit hours per semester but 12 is the minimum to be considered full-time.
